Overview

The French Section is seeking a dedicated and passionate Supply Cover Primary Teacher to join our vibrant school on an on-call basis. You will be assigned to cover staff absences and work with various student groups, requiring flexibility and adaptability. With a flexible approach, you will have the ability to adapt to working with a range of pupils, will have a caring and positive attitude and will be committed to getting the best outcomes for our pupils.

The French Section offers a bilingual program delivering the French National Curriculum in English and French by a strong team of teachers who work closely in collaboration to ensure the best learning experience for students to flourish.

A teacher is expected to demonstrate consistently high standards of personal and professional conduct.   • treating pupils with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries appropriate to a teacher’s professional position

  • showing tolerance of and respect for the rights of others

Qualifications

TES recruited well-qualified, experienced career professionals. The ideal candidate should possess a high level of French proficiency, at least C1 level English proficiency, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

1. A Master of Education Degree from a recognized University.

and/or

2. A Degree from a recognized University plus a Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE), CAPES, or equivalent.

A Bachelor of Education Degree from a recognized University will be considered with relevant experience or/ holding a State Board of Education Certification (CAPES, etc.). Outstanding teachers from other backgrounds will be considered if the applicant is willing to learn and work with the TES system and ethos.

Relevant Experience

  • Experience working in international schools (integrated curriculum - French, British, German, American, Canadian) would be a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with multicultural settings.
  • Expertise in teaching the school’s curriculum to non-native language speakers.
