Admissions Office Manager

Taipei European School is seeking an experienced and passionate Admissions Office Manager to join our team starting in August 2025 for the 2025-26 academic year! This role requires a strong background in admissions, exceptional attention to detail, and a warm, professional approach to guiding families through the admissions process. PRIMARY PURPOSE: 

  • Lead and develop strategic enrollment management to ensure Taipei European School maintains its position as a leading international school while delivering exceptional experiences for prospective families.
  • Oversee comprehensive admissions operations including student recruitment, application processing, assessment coordination, and enrollment management from initial inquiry to successful student integration.
  • Drive data-informed decision-making through the effective management of student information systems, ensuring accurate reporting, forecasting, and strategic planning for sustainable school growth.

LEADERSHIP AND SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The successful candidate will provide leadership in managing the Admissions Department, ensuring the effective execution of all admissions procedures. This role includes both people management—guiding and supporting team members responsible for various tasks—and office management, ensuring continuous improvement of procedures to align with best practices and achieve optimal outcomes.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Admissions: 

  • Build and maintain strong, inclusive relationships between the school and prospective families, ensuring clear and timely communication.
  • Oversee the entire admissions process, from initial inquiries through to information distribution, school visits, assessments, offers, and enrolment.
  • Support the Admissions Committee in reviewing applicants, conducting assessments, making offers, and maintaining accurate records of responses.
  • Organize presentations and events to effectively communicate information to parents of prospective students.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Marketing to promote the school, attract new enrolments, and coordinate relevant events.
  • Work with the Finance Department on application-related matters, including but not limited to the payment of registration fees, tuition, and billing.
  • Monitor local and international education market trends to inform and refine the school’s admissions strategies.
  • Manage and analyze admissions data to track inquiries, registrations, assessments, and enrolments, ensuring accurate forecasting and strategic planning in coordination with the Admissions Committee.
  • Continuously review and enhance admissions policies, systems, and processes to align with the school’s strategic goals, including implementing digital transformation initiatives where applicable.
  • Collaborate strategically with the TES leadership team to maintain TES’ healthy admissions pipeline, as the school’s demographics follow the macro trend of an applicant base transitioning to primarily locally residing applicants.

Office Management:

  • Oversee all admissions activities to ensure efficiency, competitiveness, and compliance with government regulations and school philosophy and policies.
  • Lead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and review of admissions policies and procedures to drive continuous improvement.
  • Supervise and support the Admissions team, regularly evaluating their performance and setting development goals.

Knowledge / Education / Experience

  • Previous experience as an Admissions Manager, Director of Admissions, or Registrar at a similar institution is preferred, along with experience in promoting, developing, and managing the full admissions process.
  • A proven ability to build and maintain positive, productive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to help drive positive change.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
  • Experience working in a large school or similar organization with multiple campuses and diverse communities.
  • Confidence in working with data to support key activities, as well as preparing and presenting clear, accurate management information.
  • Familiarity with admissions platforms and supporting software such as OpenApply, Finalsite, Calendly, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Suite.
