BSHS_Part-Time Theatre Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Overview

The British Secondary and High School Section of Taipei European School is looking to appoint an experienced Part-time Theatre teacher to cover a period of maternity leave that will last approximately 6 months commencing from October 2024 to April 2025.

The ideal candidate should be an experienced Theatre teacher, preferably with experience teaching International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP). Experience in teaching Cambridge International Education Assessments (CAIE) International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) first Language English and/or World Literature is also desirable.

We are looking for a well-motivated and creative educator who would like to be part of a well-established, dynamic, and forward-thinking school. The successful candidate will be an excellent practitioner who values collaboration and is dedicated to the holistic development of our enthusiastic and conscientious students.

1. A Bachelor of Education Degree from a recognized University.

2. A Degree from a recognized University plus either a

a) Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) or equivalent

b) Post Graduate Diploma of Education (PGDE) or equivalent
