Accounting & Finance ERP Officer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting & Finance ERP Officer to join our Central Administration / Finance Team, starting in July 2026. Primary Purpose : 

The Accounting & Finance ERP Officer supports the School’s accounting operations while leading the implementation and ongoing development of the School’s Finance ERP. The role combines accounting expertise, business process improvement, and ERP knowledge. The incumbent plays a key role in working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external vendors to lead the successful implementation and continuous enhancement of the Finance ERP, while working as part of the Finance Team to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant financial operations.

Major Specific Duties

  • Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including transaction processing, account reconciliations, record maintenance, and other accounting duties as assigned.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, financial reporting, audits, tax filings, and other compliance-related requirements.
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing development of the School’s Finance ERP, including business process review, user testing coordination, data validation, documentation, user training, and post-implementation support.
  • Coordinate with Finance, IT, Sections, other departments, and external vendors to support the successful implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Finance ERP.
  • Support projects and initiatives that contribute to the continuous improvement of financial operations, business processes, and administrative efficiency.
  • Maintain documentation relating to Finance ERP workflows, controls, operating procedures, and user guidance materials.
  • Provide support and guidance to stakeholders on accounting procedures and Finance ERP-related matters.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum seven years of relevant experience in accounting and finance operations, with proven experience in leading or supporting ERP implementation projects. 

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial processes, and internal controls.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems, business process workflows, and data management principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate projects, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with users, departments, IT personnel, and external vendors.
  • Ability to translate operational and accounting requirements into practical system solutions.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
