BSHS_English and Theatre Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Overview
The British Secondary and High School Section of Taipei European School is looking to appoint an experienced English with Theatre Teacher to cover a period of maternity leave that will last approximately 5 months commencing from December 2024 to March 2025. This position will be offered under a locally hired contract.
The ideal candidate should be an experienced Theatre teacher, preferably with experience teaching the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP). Experience in teaching Cambridge International Education Assessments (CAIE) International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) first Language English is desirable.

The successful candidate will be an excellent practitioner who values collaboration and is dedicated to the holistic development of our enthusiastic and conscientious students.

1. A Bachelor of Education Degree from a recognized University.
2. A Degree from a recognized University plus either a
a) Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) or equivalent
